Sister Maria Hughes, A.S.C., director of the Institute of Religious Formation, is an Adorer of the Blood of Christ and has rich experience in the ministry of formation. She holds a master's degree in educational administration and is herself a graduate of the Institute of Religious Formation. She has served her congregation in various levels of formation; vocation, initial and ongoing and through province leadership. She has a passion for Religious Life and has collaborated inter-congregationally in formation, retreats and parish missions. She has also presented and facilitated retreats and formation seminars internationally.

Timothy L. Crum, Program Coordinator for the Institute of Religious Formation and Hesburgh Sabbatical Program, provides the critical support services and coordination necessary to the mission of the programs.  Tim holds a juris doctor and has been involved in a variety of legal, financial, charitable and non-profit settings.  He is currently working towards a master's degree in divinity.
