Holy Land Retreat - May
Two weeks in May in the Holy Land
May 20 - June 2, 2012 with James Okoye, C.S.Sp.
For two weeks each spring, the Holy Land Retreat provides an opportunity to reflect prayerfully on the scriptures while you travel in Israel. A portion of each day is spent visiting biblical sites for reflection and prayer. Retreat conferences with CTU faculty develop the religious impact of the biblical and archaeological sites visited. Begin near the Sea of Galilee; visit Nazareth, Mount Tabor, Capernaum, and other holy sites. Then head south to Jerusalem and visit the Mount of Olives, the Holy Sepulchre, Gethsemane, Bethlehem, the Judean desert, and beyond. For a sample itinerary for the Holy Land Retreat, click here.
Cost for 2012: $2,500 plus airfare - based on double occupancy and half-board, the trip includes entrance fees, gratuities, guiding and retreat conferences, and ground transportation. Does not include the following: roundtrip airfare from Chicago, lunches, drinks, visas, telephone calls, room service, or any expenses incurred for events outside of the scheduled program. Single occupancy, where possible, costs an extra $700. Non-refundable deposit of $250 due with application (deducted from total).
(Trips do not include airfare. Participants will be told the flight arrangements of the faculty members, and thus will know the times and places for booking their own travel.)
