Fall Biblical Studies Program

The Fall Program is a time of study and exploration of biblical and historical sites in Greece, Turkey, Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Egypt and Jordan. The program's three parts may be taken separately, or combined.
- Parts A and B may be combined for a seven week trip that includes Greece, Turkey, and Israel. August 15 – October 6, 2012.
Combined price for 2012 of $10,000 plus airfare; Deposit of $500 (non-refundable). - Parts B and C may be combined for a seven week trip that includes Israel, Egypt, and Jordan. August 29 – October 20, 2012.
Combined price for 2012 of $9,500 plus airfare; Deposit of $500 (non-refundable). - Parts A, B, and C, the complete Fall Program (nine weeks; twelve credit-hours) offers an extraordinary study and travel experience. August 15 – October 20, 2012.
Combined price for 2012 of $13,250 plus airfare; Deposit of $750 (non-refundable).
In the Footsteps of Paul (Greece and Turkey)
Part A (academic credit available)
August 15 - August 30, 2012 with Laurie Brink, O.P.
Part A (two weeks; three credit-hours): visit ancient sites both biblical (Corinth, Ephesus, Thessalonica) and historical (Athens, Delphi, Istanbul, Troy). For a sample itinerary for Part A, click here.
Cost for 2012: $3,750 plus airfare - based on double occupancy and includes half-board, entrance fees, gratuities, guiding, and ground transportation. Does not include the following: roundtrip airfare from Chicago, lunches, drinks, visas, telephone calls, room service, or any expenses incurred for events outside of the scheduled program. Single occupancy, where possible, costs an extra $750. Optional graduate academic credit (3 semester hours) is available without extra cost. Non-refundable deposit of $250 due with application (deducted from total).
Middle East (Israel)
Part B (academic credit available)
August 29 - October 6, 2012 with Leslie Hoppe, O.F.M.
Part B (five weeks; six credit-hours): this program combines focused course work in the Bible with visits to historical and archaeological sites. For a sample itinerary for Part B, click here.
Cost for 2012: $6,250 plus airfare - based on double occupancy, half-board, entrance fees, gratuities, guiding, and ground transportation. Graduate academic credit (6 semester hours) is available without extra cost. Does not include the following: roundtrip airfare from Chicago, lunches, drinks, visas, telephone calls, room service, or any expenses incurred for events outside of the scheduled program. Single occupancy, where possible, costs an extra $800. Non-refundable deposit of $250 due with application (deducted from total).
