Catholic Theological Union at Chicago, the largest Roman Catholic graduate school of theology in the United States, is seeking a Director of Admissions. The Director of Admissions is a full time position responsible for the overall admissions procedures of the school, from the point of first inquiry until admittance and registration, including responding to students’ inquiries and concerns, insuring prompt communication with inquiries and prospective students, and proper data management. The Director is also responsible for the efficient management of the Admissions Office and insures effective communication with the office of the Registrar and that of the Academic Dean and various Program Directors. The Director of Admissions reports to the Senior Director of Enrollment Management and works in close collaboration with the Director of Recruitment, including in some instances involvement in direct recruitment activities in coordination with the Director of Recruitment.     

The Director of Admissions should have experience in an academic admissions department, preferably at the graduate level; be computer literate; have direct knowledge and experience in gathering and analyzing data; enjoy working with students; and be comfortable with the mission and environment of a Catholic graduate school of theology.
